What is Occupational Health
Occupational health is a field of healthcare involving multiple fields dedicated to the well-being and safety of employees in the workplace, with a strong focus on injury prevention and education. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.67 square miles (1.74 km2), of which 0.66 square miles (1.71 km2) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 km2) is water.
As of the census of 2010, there were 899 people, 364 households, and 266 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,362.1 inhabitants per square mile (525.9/km2). There were 428 housing units at an average density of 648.5 per square mile (250.4/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 96.3% White, 0.8% African American, 0.2% from other races, and 2.7% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.3% of the population.
There were 364 households of which 33.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.9% were married couples living together, 15.1% had a female householder with no husband present, 3.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 26.9% were non-families. 25.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.47 and the average family size was 2.88.
