What is Occupational Health

Occupational health is a field of healthcare involving multiple fields dedicated to the well-being and safety of employees in the workplace, with a strong focus on injury prevention and education. Rudolph derives its name from Rudolph township, which in turn was named after Rudolph Hecox, the first white child born within the town's borders. The town was incorporated in 1960. The crossroads community is anchored by the Dairy State Cheese factory.

As of the census of 2010, there were 439 people, 179 households, and 126 families residing in the village. The population density was 368.9 inhabitants per square mile (142.4/km2). There were 197 housing units at an average density of 165.5 per square mile (63.9/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 97.3% White, 0.2% African American, 0.2% Native American, 0.2% Asian, 1.4% from other races, and 0.7% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.8% of the population.

There were 179 households of which 30.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.1% were married couples living together, 8.4% had a female householder with no husband present, 3.9% had a male householder with no wife present, and 29.6% were non-families. 24.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.42 and the average family size was 2.85.
